Kendrick J. Blackwell is Martindale-Hubbell AV® rated and has been practicing since 1995.
Mr. Blackwell received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University in 1991 and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1994, graduating with Honors. While at Stetson, Mr. Blackwell was an associate editor of the Stetson Law Review.
He began his civil litigation practice at Bacon & Bacon, P.A. in St. Petersburg and then joined the Fowler White firm in Tampa. In 1998, Mr. Blackwell started his own law firm in Tampa concentrating in first-party insurance defense litigation. He opened offices in Miami and Orlando and had the opportunity to litigate complex cases in the major circuits throughout Florida.
Ken and his wife, Claudia, live in St. Petersburg and have three daughters. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He and his family are members of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
