Ms. Bowes graduated with Honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2001. In 2004, she completed her law degree at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. Prior to joining Blackwell & Blackwell, P.A., Ms. Bowes was an associate with the Law Office of Philip S. Wartenberg, P.A. and Catherine W. Real, P.A.
Ms. Bowes’ focus on family law began at the University of Florida, where she volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Martha Ann Lott, Eighth Judicial Circuit, Family Law and Mental Health Divisions. She also participated in the Virgil Hawkins Pro Se Clinic, representing indigent clients throughout all stages of their family law proceedings. Ms. Bowes was presented with a book award for her work in the clinic.
Courtney and her husband, Brian, live in South Tampa. She is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Family Law Inns of Court. |
